Abstract

Parsing is the soul of Arabic that cannot - under any circumstances- be forced to be waived. And here we give up on it in the story (Alhikayah)! Whatever it is called, Modularity, hierarchy, harmonious series, it is governed by one name; It is parsing. If all of this were broken, it would be a cause for astonishment or difficulty in understanding. How can, the effect between one word and another, and one sentence and another, be explained considering new relationships that are pre-ordained by error?

The story (Alhikayah) is not a typical substitute for parsing. Semitic languages tend to offer abolition - the abolition of parsing - as an alternative. But the story is not like that; It is an attempt to break the rule and the restrictions. It is closer to poetic necessity, but it differs from necessity in that necessity is acceptable and palatable in the equation of what is musically prosodic versus what is grammatical. Necessity is a winning deal between grammar and music. The story (Alhikayah) is not subject to the profit imposed by the verb measures and the meters. It is imposed seriously and intentionality in the conflict of text and meaning and may not gain the attention of the mad poets.

This research is concerned with studying the phenomenon of the story that breaks the use of parsing in one of the Semitic languages- Arabic language- considering the fossilization of the language, and the extents of its grammatical and semantic use, especially in narration (Intertextualty).
