Abstract
The research aimed to identify the effect of using the Swom model on graduate students acquiring and retaining the skills of using the statistical analysis program (Spss). It was conducted on a sample of graduate students in a number of colleges at the University of Damascus. The research sample was divided into two experimental groups that studied the skills of using it. The statistical analysis program (Spss) using the Swom model and a control group studied the skills of using the statistical analysis program (Spss) using the traditional method, then a post-achievement test was conducted for the control and experimental groups, and the same achievement test was applied after three weeks, and the following results were reached:
The study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-achievement test in favor of the experimental group, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group in the postponed post-achievement test in favor of the experimental group, and the absence of statistically significant differences between The average scores of the experimental group in the post-achievement test and the postponed post-achievement test, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group due to college specialization
