Abstract
Reification is a serious human problem that has touched the doors of our modem age, after its roots that were planted in the past were nourished on the remnants of ancient inhuman practices up to the prehistoric era of slavery, self-monopolization, and crushing human values, modem narrative studies, like other sciences, have discussed these phenomena, including the narration of the virgin of sinjar which talked about the objectification of woman and their transformation from a being enjoying human rights into a tool and a tool that benefits from them for the purposes of displaying morals, religion and human rights in general, and women in particular, during the isis invasion of the lands of sinjar, what happened to her was the most heinous and humiliating of all human and humanity throughout history, this research was a field to talk about the manifestations of reication and its causes in the novel 'the virgin of sinjar' by the writer wared badr al-salem.
