Abstract
There is no doubt that there is a strong relationship between history and literature. The first step of literature starts with registration and recording the history of heroes, and the upper layer of society. This research is an attempt to shows the link between these two majors. This research entitled (Using the History in the Novel (Shiri Musa) by (Sabir Rashid). The first section forms the similarity and difference between novel and history. Also in the second part, the features of the historical novel displayed, and in other sections the historian and novelist deal with the subject and language of the text. The second part of this research entitled (the use of history in the novel (Shiri Musa)), in five different sections talks about historical starts of the novel, mixing reality, imagination, and history in an excellent way and the impact of history in the novel. The outcome of the research has put at the end of this research.
