Abstract
This subject (a mother in Modern Arabic Poetry ) is talking about the real meanings and semantics and tropes to the word (mother) in Arabic modern poetry , so this research is as a preface consists many parts, and the conclusion that followed by a list for the resources and the references .
These investigations are : objective comparison between the old poetry and the modern of mother meanings. the mother of children’s poetry . the mother as a ground and the motherland.
The presence of the mother and her absence in modern Arabic poetry. the legendary mother in modern Arabic poetry . the mother between loss and distortion.
Although this research is an objective study, it is without prejudice to many critical and artistic criticisms.
