Abstract
The goal of this study was to measure the degree of practicing educational leadership from intermediate schools’ head teachers in Baghdad from their teachers’ point of view. The study conducted in 2017-2018. The researcher used a questionnaire as a tool to collect the data and he distributed the survey among intermediate schools in Baghdad. The sample contains 194 teachers. The findings of this study revealed that the head teachers in intermediate schools are practicing the educational leadership skills in a high degree. Also, the findings showed that most teachers tend to prefer the head teacher who practices the democratic “co-operative”pattern inside the school among other models of leadership.
